I hope this list of 13 shows will make it easier for you to come up with a new name for that adorable little horse of yours. Coming from a family of equestrians, I can tell you that the world is full of horses with very cute names. Names like “Pumpkin,” “Applejack,” and most notably: my favorite horse’s name “Coco” were all popular in our barn growing up.
It was difficult to pick just 13 shows on Netflix about this subject (which may not be surprising considering Netflix has estimated over 700 original series), but here are some favorites that might get your mind off Coco for a minute, or at least give you something new to watch!
I’ll let you know if there are any bonus episodes that feature ponies specifically too so stay tuned..
Equestrian Manor– Yes, this is a show about horses, but it’s really more of an introspective look into the world of horse ownership.
Horse Crazy– A group of girls with one being a pro rider who want to win at any cost – what could go wrong?
The Good Doctor: Horses in medicine! This episode has solid information on how horses can have therapeutic benefits for humans and I left feeling like doctors should be using them more often when possible.
Bosch: Harry Bosch investigates the death of a woman involved in an equestrian accident – not exactly pony related, but close enough.
Drunk History (Season Four): If you love history and comedy shows then take some time out from your day to watch this.
The Ranch: The most underrated show on Netflix! This is the perfect blend of humor and heart that will surely make you laugh out loud while also giving a glimpse into how hard ranch life can be. Plus, no one has ever seen a horse in it’s entirety so there’s really no excuse for not watching it!
Nailed It!: A kind-of competition where underprivileged bakers are given three challenges each to see who does best. I love baking but holy cow these people are amazing – they’re able to create some seriously realistic looking desserts with their own ingredients and very little time or money. If you like cake as much as I do then don’t miss this one!
Grey’s Anatomy: It is a medical drama that will make you simultaneously want to vomit and cry your eyes out. The show has been on for 13 seasons so it can be hard to keep up with what’s happening but trust me when I say this – if you’re just getting into the show, don’t stop after one episode or even two because once you get hooked these episodes fly by!
You: You might have heard about this Netflix original from their press releases and interviews (they’ve made some serious waves in Hollywood) but then again maybe not since they’re keeping everything pretty hush-hush until its October release date. But all we know is Kevin Spacey stars as an internet guru who falls under suspicion
Netflix is a magical place for binge-watching. It’s the kind of place where you can get lost in a show and not emerge from your room until there are four new seasons waiting to be watched on Netflix, because you’re hooked. I mean, just this week alone there was news about Netflix releasing all episodes at once (ftw) as well as six new shows premiering that people were already talking about like crazy (#sorrynotsorry). With so many options out there it can be hard to know what to watch first. So we thought everyone could use some help navigating their way towards our favorite things on Netflix right now.
13 Can’t Miss Shows by Cute Horse Name:
Stranger Things –
Only a show about fairies and cute horses could distract me from your incredible blog post, but this one is my favorite- it’s so interesting.
Here are some of the top most bingeable Netflix series for you to watch: 13 Reasons Why; Stranger Things; One Day at a Time (Season One); The OA. If you’re looking for something less intense or more lighthearted, check out Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt; Fuller House; Wet Hot American Summer – First Day of Camp. And if you haven’t binged all these shows yet, start with Bojack Horseman because it will make your heart hurt in the best possible way!
I’m not sure how I got over here on the 13 Netflix Shows to Make You Forget Your Cute Horse’s Name page, but I’ll be getting back to work now.
