I have only been doing this for a little over a year, but the lifestyle is already paying off for me. I feel stronger, mentally and physically, as a result of training and practice.
If you’re a jiu-jitsu fighter, you should probably keep training and practicing. There’s nothing quite like being strong and having perfect control of your opponent to make you a better fighter. As someone who has been fighting since 2007, I can personally attest to the benefits of doing something as simple and effective as jiu jitsu.
This is a lifestyle, not a sport. You can do this training and practice all you want in your life without needing a gym. In fact, I recommend going out and doing some exercise of your own. If you’re a gym rat, you can probably afford to. If you’re a couch potato, you might as well. Doing something for yourself is better than nothing, and it will make you a better person.
My own personal favorite bit of jiu jitsu in the trailer is the one where Colt is going to kick a chair after the chair’s legs break through the floor. Of course, this is a bit risky, so he has to have his guard up.

body building classes are a bit different than regular JJJ classes because it’s not about hitting all the exercises and cardio. It’s about building core strength and cardiovascular endurance. A lot of people find it easier to learn bodybuilding classes because the exercises can be performed in a small space and with minimal equipment. You can take your pick of exercises for the body building class, but the general idea is the same.
I’ve never done a bodybuilding class in my life and I can’t wait to do it. They also have a good nutritional program with a low calorie count.
As it turns out, you can do just as well doing pilates, kettlebells, and other cardio classes (without the bodybuilder aspect) and you get the same benefits. If you do it with no equipment, you can use it like a free weight workout.
jiu jitsu is pretty self explanatory, but in a nutshell, it’s a type of martial art in which you spar with other people to prove you’re tough and capable of doing what you say you can do.
