The first year of my job, I had to wear a lot of underwear. I put it down to fear. I would have to walk around in a shirt and blouse and a pair of shorts every day. I would have to wear those clothes for so long that I would forget they were there.
Today I took my girlfriend’s advice and put on some new clothes, and I’ve noticed that she is a bit less concerned about my wardrobe. She says that I look more confident, but it’s not all about the clothes. She makes me promise that I’ll take some time to read about each season of my favorite books, and I promise to try to read during lunch. I also promise to read the books that she recommends.
This is a really great recommendation, because I have a lot of those books that I am supposed to read, but I just don’t have the time. She’s right though, I’m not confident, and I don’t have the time.
I am so glad you agree, and I hope you will try to read that section. This is the section that we usually like to read about when we are trying to lose weight. It is the section that usually makes me look like a total loser because I don’t read it.
I would rather be a total loser than be overweight. Because even when I am dieting, I am still trying to lose weight. And even though other people tell me it is important to lose weight, it is not something I am willing to do.
I disagree with this. One of the few things that is absolutely key to losing weight is exercise. We have heard it over and over again that our body is the most important thing in our life. If we don’t exercise, we won’t lose weight. So when we do exercise we should always do it at least 30 minutes a day.
The problem is that our bodies are not like computers. A computer gets fed a spreadsheet every day. Our bodies get fed a set of instructions every day. If we don’t follow the instructions, we will not get the results we are looking for.
It’s not just about exercise though; it’s about how and when you exercise. If we do it at the wrong time of day, our body will respond by turning off. If we exercise too late in the day, we should never exercise again. If we do it too early in the day, our body will react by building muscle. So really, you want to make sure you exercise at the right time or the wrong time.
So what you want to do is schedule your exercises so that they are at the right time of day, and that they are not too early or too late in the day. If you exercise too early in the day, your body will react by building muscle, and if you exercise too late in the day, it will turn off.
This is one of the things I learned about myself through writing this. The good thing is that I’ve found that having a healthy, balanced lifestyle (i.e. working out, not eating too much, and drinking lots of water) is really important to my emotional health.
